“Honour Rotary with Faith and Enthusiasm”

Varied Club activities included ‘Take a Kid Fishing’, a progressive dinner, and a Whangamata bach brawl.

A trip to the top of Mt Tarawera was a highlight.

Fundraisers included the playhouse raffle, Christmas pudding sales, a charity golf tournament, a fertiliser drive and a silent auction.

$1000 was put towards an adventure playground at Insoll Avenue School;

$750 was given to help Pacific Islands’ fellowship set up a freezer at Ha’apai in Tonga.

Eighteen Club members held District appointments.

John Hogg was honoured with a Paul Harris Fellow.
