Two new organisations were set up this year. The Pacific Islands’ Fellowship took over the running of the Tongan projects, and the Club establishing the Peer Support Programme in New Zealand. Community Service Director Rob Wilton’s enthusiastic work for Peer Support saw a grant from the JR McKenzie Trust and an invitation to present the concept to the District 993 Conference.
Club Membership rose to 69.
Colin Sheppard’s bulletin was awarded runner-up for District.
Special thanks were extended to Brian and Betty Fraser and Keath and Jocelyn Ward as host families for youth exchangees.
