“Take Time to Serve”
 
 

Keath’s year was a very busy one with considerable assistance to Tonga; two teachers hosted to improve their English, an outboard motor supplied and assistance with buildings at Ha’Akio.
 
David Vermeren, Frank Forster and Alan Jones were invited to join the District World Community Service Committee and actively helped over in Tonga.
 
Inward Exchange Student, Marta Kazandjean was hosted by Club members with Bryan Fraser as Counsellor.  Matched Twin Exchange programme with Australia commenced.

Other Club activities included creating a Barbecue Area for Trevellyn, a Las Vegas Evening at Chartwell Square raising $2000, and a Club “Fun Evening” to host over 30 sons and daughters.
