The year’s major task was the construction of the Chartwell Children’s Play Court at Chartwell Park, under the expert supervision of Bruce Livingstone.
Membership grew to 40.
A second Progressive Dinner was a great success.
The Club reached the 300% plateau.
In conjunction with Frankton and Hamilton East we brought three Tongan teachers to New Zealand, providing them with an opportunity to improve their English and their teaching skills.
Elgar Henry was Director of the District RYLA Seminar.
